Holiday Boarding Notice!

During the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years Holidays, we require a $50 deposit per kennel reserved if dates fall on any of the following dates:

Thanksgiving: Tuesday, November 26th through Monday December 2nd.
Christmas/NYE: Saturday, December 21st through Thursday, Januiary 2nd 2025

This deposit is refundable with 2 weeks advance notice:

Thanksgiving Holiday: Cancellations must be made by November 13th 2024 for a full refund for the Thanksgiving holiday deposit.
Christmas Holiday: Cancellations must be made by December 10th 2024 for a full refund of the Christmas holiday deposit.
Cancellations within 2 weeks of the holiday will be forfeit and go into our discressionary account to support local pets.

Additionally, daily rates for holiday kennel reservations increase by $10 per day for any day that falls on the dates outlined above. Kennel prices will increase on those specific dates as follows:

Double Kennels: $50/night
Triple Kennels: $60/night

Having a local emergency contact on file is important for the safety and well-being of your pet during their stay with us. If your pet requires urgent medical attention, we may need to make decisions promptly, or support transfer to an emergency facility. Should your cat need emergency medical care that we are not equiped to support, Cat Care Clinic can facilitate transfer to a 24 hour facility for an additional $40.

Please confirm with us your drop off dates, and an approximate time is appreciated. You may drop off any time that the medical office is open, Monday through Friday between 8am and 6pm, Saturday between 9am and 2pm. We offer Sunday pick-ups, on a prearranged basis only, for an additional fee.

Starting January 13th, 2025, all boarding cats in our care must have an annual wellness exam completed by a veterinarian at Cat Care Clinic. This is to ensure that we can provide the best possible care and have a complete picture of the health and wellbeing of all cats in our care. We will continue to require that all cat's be up to date on their Rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age.

For the protection of all boarding cats, we require both FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations to be current. We highly recommend the Feline Leukemia (FeLV) vaccine as well. Boarders who are overdue or of unknown FVRCP and Rabies vaccination status will be automatically vaccinated prior to admission to boarding at the owner's expense ($57.49 per vaccine). The FVRCP vaccine protects against many, but not all upper respiratory viruses. Your cat may still be at limited risk to airborne viruses when boarding. If you cat hasn't been seen in over 6 months, a wellness exam may be required to update either of these vaccines ($98.00). *

I understand that boarding my cat increases the risk of respiratory infection. If my cat does become infected with a respiratory issue while being boarded, Cat Care Clinic is not liable for medical bills incurred. *

In order to provide the best possible flea control, all cats found to have fleas will be required upon admission and at owners expense to receive Capstar and "Revolution Plus". *

The clinic reserves the right to administer veterinary care to any boarding cat, at the owner's expense, if the owner is unreachable, or it is deemed medically necessary. This includes behavioral medication if the cat is fearful or extremely, anxious, potentially putting our staff or themselves in danger. We will make our best attempt to contact you before medical care is administered. *

If the cat(s) is/are not claimed within 15 days of the scheduled pick-up date, and the owners has not informed the clinic of the extended stay and is unreachable, the boarder shall be deemed abandoned and decisions about the long term care of the cat(s) will be determined by Cat Care Clinic. *

Cat Care clinic is not an emergency facility, nor does it provide 24-hour monitoring of cats in our care. If you cat is experiencing a medical emergency, at Cat Care Clinic's veterinarian's recommendation, they may be transferred to the nearest, suitable facility. If we are unable to contact your emergency contact for transport, Cat Care Clinic will transport them for an additional $40 fee. *
