Cat Care Clinic is one of the few feline-only veterinary hospitals in the greater Seattle area. Our doctors are able to provide patients with experienced, customized care, and the most recent advances in feline medicine.
Alexander Neale, DVM, MPH
Dr. Alexander Neale graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2017. A native of the UK, he was raised in Snohomish, and before veterinary school, he earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington. He also holds a Master of Public Health.
Dr. Neale has a special interest in preventive medicine and infectious disease, as well as internal medicine, oncology, and dentistry. He is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Dr. Neale lives with his two tabbies, Fudge and Snicker, and a one-year-old Ragdoll named Neville. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano, researching his family history, and skiing.
Marissa has been a licensed technician for several years and worked in a veterinary setting for the past eight years. She last worked at a mixed animal clinic and worked with an array of large and small animals. She was an active member of her FFA and 4-H growing up. Showing dairy cows, beef cows, horses, sheep, and goats.
Marissa enjoys spending time at home with her husband and daughter. She provides a loving home to two cows named Becky (a 16-year-old jersey) and Panda (a two-year-old Simmental); two Blue Heelers named Banjo (two years) and Fiddle (one year); and her three cats, Rolo (a 12-year-old dilute calico), Annie (a 10-year-old grey Domestic Shorthair), and Zazzle Kahne (an eight-year-old brown tabby).
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Melodie has been a licensed technician for several years, working in fast-paced mixed animal practices, as well as animal shelters and farms. She has always enjoyed working with cats, which is what made her a great asset to our team.
At home, Melodie enjoys woodworking and spending time outdoors with friends and family. She currently lives with her two Boston Terriers named Beaker and Bunsen, as well as her calico cat named Sassy.
Sherry is from Colorado, where she worked for seven years in a mixed large and small animal practice. Sherry was drawn to the Pacific Northwest, where she decided to continue her career working in feline medicine. She has volunteered at animal shelters and cat rescues. In all, she has worked in the veterinary field for a little over 10 years.
When not at work, Sherry enjoys spending time on the water, going to concerts and shows, or just spending time at home with her cat, Meester Furbs.
Elizabeth earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science at Washington State University. For three years at the university, she gained experience as a lab technician and an assistant at the campus exotics ward. She interned in Bogota, Colombia at Universidad Nacional for three months in their small animal and exotics hospital. Elizabeth has always enjoyed her time around animals and loves to be able to care for them.
In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, hiking, and art. She is hoping to gain a feline companion sometime soon.
Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist
Victoria has a vast history of customer service, having helped start and open a successful auto detailing business with her family. She has always been drawn to working closely with animals. Previously, Victoria worked at a boarding facility, where she took care of both canine and feline patients.
In her free time, Victoria likes to keep herself busy with arts and crafts. She enjoys painting, making cosplay costumes, and attending conventions. She and her fiancé live with Mumu, a three-year-old tuxedo kitty and Zoey, a two-year-old grey tabby.
