Alexander Neale, DVM, MPH

Alexander Neale, DVM, MPH

Veterinarian

Dr. Alexander Neale is a full-time cat wrangler and veterinarian. Hailing from across the pond but now proudly calling Snohomish home, Dr. Neale’s journey from biochemistry buff to feline aficionado is more meow-nificent than a cat wearing a top hat. Armed since 2017 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University and a master’s in Public Health (because even cats need to stay healthy in a pandemic), Dr. Neale is on a mission to prevent more hairballs than there are grains of sand on a litter box floor.

When he’s not deciphering the enigma of kitty coughs or battling stubborn tartar, Dr. Neale is the proud guardian of Neville, the one-year-old Ragdoll who thinks he’s the king of the cat tree. Between tickling the ivories on his piano, delving into the depths of his family tree (apparently, his great-great-great-granduncle was a mouse catcher in Buckingham Palace), and hitting the slopes faster than a cat chasing a laser pointer, Dr. Neale keeps life as lively as a catnip-filled party. With a perfect blend of medical expertise and cat-dad charm, Dr. Neale is the cat’s whiskers of veterinary care.

Weina Dai, DVM

Weina Dai, DVM

Veterinarian

Veterinarian by day, wildlife warrior by night, and self-proclaimed ferret fanatic 24/7. With a UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine degree, she has more animal knowledge stuffed in her brain than a kangaroo has joeys in her pouch. After dodging claws and treating emergencies in the heartland of Illinois, Dr. Dai decided to get wild with wildlife at Washington State University’s Exotics Department. Dr. Dai’s professional interests range from handling emergencies with the calmness of a sloth on a Sunday afternoon to delving deep into the mysteries of internal medicine. She has traversed the veterinary landscape with the finesse of a ninja and the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store (albeit a candy store filled with snakes and spiders).

When she’s not saving the day for critters big and small, Dr. Dai is busy rolling dice and slaying dragons in epic Dungeons & Dragons campaigns because who needs mundane human quests when you can rescue kingdoms from the clutches of fire-breathing beasts? And let’s not forget her insatiable appetite for all things edible. Whether it’s a towering stack of pancakes or a plate of escargot, Dr. Dai is always ready to embark on a culinary adventure. With a household bustling with ferrets, a cat with a namesake straight out of a ’90s sitcom, and a partner’s dog adding to the chaos, Dr. Dai’s life is a delightful menagerie of veterinary prowess, gaming glory, and gastronomic delights.

Maggie Jones

Maggie Jones

Practice Manager

Meet Maggie, the accidental adventurer turned cat crusader whose journey from Woodinville to the wilds of Anchorage and beyond reads like a plot twist in a sitcom. Armed with a business degree and a questionable sense of direction, she stumbled into the animal kingdom via a detour through a primate sanctuary in the Dominican Republic—because who needs a career plan when you can have close encounters with mischievous monkeys?

Now back in the comfort of her Woodinville roots (and probably relieved to be out of arm’s reach of any monkeys with a penchant for mischief), Maggie’s passion for animal care has blossomed like a catnip-infused garden. While she’s traded in primates for purring pals, her tiny sociopathic cat, Stormy, ensures that life remains anything but ordinary (and the furniture remains in constant peril).

When she’s not busy corralling cats or dodging Stormy’s attempts at world domination, you’ll find Maggie gallivanting through Washington’s great outdoors, whether it’s horseback riding, hiking, or paddleboarding (with Stormy presumably plotting ways to sabotage her adventures from the comfort of her window perch). And with a fervor only matched by Stormy’s disdain for cardboard boxes, Maggie is on a mission to spread the word about the wonders of cat-only clinics to every feline fanatic in the Pacific Northwest. Because who needs a dog when you can have a cat that thinks it’s a supervillain?

Alourah

Alourah

Veterinary Assistant

Introducing Alourah, the animal-loving superheroine of the Snoqualmie Valley, whose dedication to furry friends rivals that of a cat with a laser pointer. With a heart bigger than the Grand Canyon and a knack for wrangling critters faster than a herd of stampeding turtles, she’s the guardian angel of all things four-legged and fuzzy.

When she’s not busy donning her cape and rescuing animals in distress, Alourah can be found navigating the chaotic circus that is her own home, where the pet-to-human ratio is slightly skewed in favor of the furry inhabitants. With two dogs, six cats, two ball pythons, and a rotating cast of foster pets that come and go faster than you can say “fetch,” her household is a veritable zoo on its own—complete with its own resident zookeeper.

But fear not, for in between rounds of pet feeding and litter box duty, Alourah still manages to find time for the simple joys of family life because what’s a home without a little chaos and a lot of love? With her passion for animal welfare and her ever-expanding menagerie, Alourah proves that sometimes the biggest heroes come in the smallest (and furriest) packages.

Callyn

Callyn

Veterinary Assistant

Meet Callyn, the feline fanatic and professional cat whisperer at Cat Care Clinic. Armed with her trusty lint roller and a knack for deciphering the elusive language of meows, Callyn is the ultimate cat confidante. Starting her journey working at the dog shelter, Callyn realized that felines are the ultimate way to her heart and continued her education to obtain her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree.

Off-duty, Callyn is a foodie who loves to travel the Pacific Northwest, finding the best cuisines around. Her positivity is infectious, and her calm manner makes both cats and clients feel more at ease when she is on the case. With Callyn on the prowl, every day is a whisker-twitching adventure at Cat Care Clinic!

Nicole

Nicole

Veterinary Assistant

Introducing Nicole, the purr-fectly passionate veterinary assistant extraordinaire at Cat Care Clinic, where her dedication to all things feline is only rivaled by her love for cat memes. In just a year, she’s absorbed more knowledge than a sponge in a tsunami, with her learning capabilities skyrocketing to new heights faster than a cat can knock over a vase (which, let’s be honest, is pretty darn fast). She was enrolled in PIMA’s veterinary technician program because, apparently, she’s not content with just being a superhero to cats; she wants to be their caped crusader, too. With a desire to help as many animals as possible, Nicole’s passion for furry critters knows no bounds, and neither does her collection of cat-themed stationery.

When Nicole clocks out and bids adieu to the realm of litter boxes and purring patients, she transforms into a nature-loving explorer extraordinaire. Armed with her trusty hiking boots and a backpack filled with cat treats (because you never know when you’ll encounter a woodland kitty needing a snack), she embarks on adventures that would make even the most intrepid mountain goat jealous. Upon exiting the towering trees and babbling brooks, Nicole’s heart belongs to one special furball: Mildred, the three-legged wonder cat with a personality as big as her purrs.

Anastasiya

Anastasiya

Veterinary Assistant

Anastasiya grew up in a bustling menagerie with a German Shepherd, a horde of bunnies, and a few hamsters who probably had their own secret society, but curiously, no cats! After this thrilling childhood, she enrolled in PIMA’s Veterinary Assistant program, where she must have been secretly plotting to make up for her cat-less past. She soon joined Cat Care Clinic, where she discovered her true calling—working with the furrier, fuzzier, and occasionally furball-ier side of the animal kingdom.

Anastasiya’s dream job is working at the zoo, where she can swap tales with giraffes and have deep conversations with parrots. When she’s not busy being a veterinary superhero, you’ll find her conquering video game worlds, hiking up mountains, or, more recently, indulging in her new role as a cat mom. In 2024, she welcomed Lavenza, a Scottish Fold who has more charm and sass than a Broadway diva. As a first-time cat mom, she’s in awe of Lavenza’s royal flair and enjoys watching her little princess navigate the world with the grace of someone who clearly believes she’s the queen of the castle.

Lily

Lily

Receptionist

Meet Lily, the island girl turned Washingtonian with a heart as big as the Pacific Ocean and a love for animals that rivals the excitement of a puppy discovering its tail for the first time. Hailing from the sunny shores of Kauai, she brought with her a love for all things furry and a knack for turning unexpected strays into cherished family members faster than you can say “meow aloha.”

When she’s not busy saving the world one purr at a time, Lily can be found indulging in her other passions, like binge-watching movies (preferably ones with talking animals), cuddling up with her black and white feline sidekicks, Finn & Evie (who’re probably plotting world domination in between naps), or channeling her inner Picasso with a paintbrush or sculpting clay (because who needs a canvas when you have a lump of clay and cats as a muse?).

And let’s not forget her penchant for wildlife zoos and parks, where she can marvel at creatures great and small, probably with Finn in tow, critiquing the squirrels’ acrobatic skills and giving impromptu art lessons to passing birds. With Lily around, every day is an adventure filled with laughter, love, and a healthy dose of cat hair.
