Jason Laramore

Veterinarian

Dr. Jason Laramore is a highly-accomplished veterinarian and valedictorian who has worked in general small animal practice, feline-exclusive medicine (hospital owner), and primate medicine research, driven by a lifelong passion for a wide range of animals.

Dr. Jason Laramore graduated as valedictorian of his veterinary school class in 2002. A lifelong animal lover, he grew up caring for a wide range of animals-including cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, rats, snakes, tarantulas, and even a squirrel. His passion for animals, combined with a strong interest in general science and biology, made veterinary medicine a natural career path. Over the years, Dr. Laramore has held a variety of roles within the field, from working in general practice for cats and dogs to owning a feline-exclusive hospital. He has also provided mobile end-of-life care and contributed to primate medicine research at the University of Washington.

Dr. Laramore loves to fly and is even working toward his private pilot’s license. When not in the air, he also enjoys running, travelling, reading, and gardening.

Dr. Jason has two cats (littermates), a male orange cat, named (by his children) Cheeto and female black cat named Zuzu – name by himself after George Bailey’s daughter in, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.
